The 140th China Import and Export Fair (also known as Canton Fair) will be held in three phases from October 15 to November 4, 2026. The fair is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and hosted by China Foreign Trade Center.

Founded in 1957 as a vital platform for China's opening up and international trade cooperation, the Canton Fair is known as the barometer and bellweather of China's foreign trade. It has been the longest and the largest exhibition in China with the largest number of buyers, the widest range of countries, the most comprehensive variety of commodities and the best transaction effect. This year marks the 70th anniversary of Canton Fair. So far, 139 sessions have been successfully held. The Canton Fair has established trade relations with more than 220 countries and regions around the world, vigorously facilitating trade and friendly exchanges between China and other countries.
