Bristol and West of England China Bureau members will get an insight in to the changing world of casinos at their next Pow Wow event in June.

The venue for the first business networking event of 2018 will be the Grosvenor Casino on Anchor Road – and all guests are welcome to enjoy a night at the Casino with complimentary chips.

Bristol and West of England China Bureau Director Richard Lowe said: “We always strive to make our Pow Wow networking evenings as fresh and interesting as possible and we thought it would be an excellent idea to link up with the casino for an informal get-together.

“One of the largest casino venues in the world is Macau– the Chinese are busy transitioning their venues to cater for large international conferences and events.

“Here in the UK, casino venues are also opening their doors to stage different types of events for food, drink as well as networking.”

General Manager, Monika Borska said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first China Bureau event as we have recently joined as Corporate Members.

“I am helping to change the perception of casinos. The Grosvenor Casino is a safe place where all manner of events for businesses and parties can be held to meet the changing demands of our broad and diverse community.

“We are delighted to have very strong connection with Bristol’s Chinese communities and we look forward to welcoming members and guests to our venue for an informal and fun networking evening.”

Richard Lowe concluded: “China Pow Wow's are informal networking events that provide a great opportunity to meet fellow China enthusiasts over drinks and light refreshments.

“China Bureau Members are entitled to register a free ticket plus one free guest. These networking events prove very popular, so we advise booking your tickets early as spaces are restricted to 50 guests.”

The Pow Wow, to be held on Thursday June 21 from 6pm-9pm, will also include a Q&A session, networking opportunities and drinks and buffet.
