Bristol and West of England China Bureau will link up with dynamic software engineering business Audiogum for their next Pow Wow networking event to be held in June.
The June Pow Wow is themed around Digital Technology and is hosted and sponsored by Audiogum.
Bristol-based Audiogum’s customers include audio providers and manufacturers, smart wearables, robot/IoT customers, with developing partnerships in Automotive. The firm is partnered with a major Shanghai-listed Chinese partner, with a market value in excess of USD $8Billion.
Bristol and West of England China Bureau Director Richard Lowe said: “‘Bristol is a leading hub for the advancement of mobile and digital technology that is attracting new and established interest from China.
“One of the reasons behind the Bureau’s strength in this sector is our talent as well as our ambition to become a 5G test bed for super-fast and reliable connectivity, which is vital if the UK is to remain a global leader.
“Our expertise in this sector has recently attracted Chinese digital technology firms like Huawei and more recently new ventures like Audiogum, recent Corporate Members of the Bureau, who will be hosting our next China Pow Wow at their new offices. This networking event will offer a unique insight into what is driving interest from China in our digital economy.”
Highlight of the event will be Jamie from Audiogum who will deliver a presentation on Living and working between Beijing and Bristol.
The event will be held on Wednesday June 21 at Audiogum’s Freshford House HQ in Bristol kicking off at 6pm.
The informal networking events provide a great opportunity to discover more about exporting to China, to share experiences and meet fellow China enthusiasts over drinks and canapés.
Please note places are limited to 50 tickets for China Bureau Members and Audiogum Guests only. These networking events prove very popular, so we advise booking your tickets early.
